Hey, you found your way to my first blog post! Welcome ~ stay a while ~ make yourself comfy ~

Actually, I’ve never been much of a blogger. I think the closest thing I ever did to blogging was writing my thoughts in that fuzzy diary I kept when I was 10… or vlogging my high school prom… for some reason this seems a little different (but possibly just as awkward). Things are a bit different now - I have my brand name Versace eye bags, knee pain, and some sparkly self confidence, so I finally feel that I’m qualified to put my thoughts on the internet for everyone to see!

More specifically though, I’m here to share my experience with starting a business. I’m gonna be honest with you, at this point I have pretty much no idea what I’m doing… but the best and worst thing about me is that I’m stubborn as hell. If I say I’m going to do something, I will.

I’ve got this burning desire to change the way people look at business (corporate bs and manipulation is not the only way to make money!!). I want to run my business with people at the forefront, and I want it to be used as an extraordinary way to improve our community. How you ask? Good question, but I’m working on it.

Call me naïve, but I really believe that being profitable AND genuinely honest is not mutually exclusive!!

Anyway I’ll leave it at that for today! Thanks for reading this far and make sure to keep a lookout for the next post.

Peace and love.

Shanisha
